Situated in the Bay Area suburb of Rio Vista, California, Club Liberty takes a 4.5-acre parcel and makes it the heart of this active adult community. Conceptualized as a collection of disused buildings on an old ranch, Club Liberty is formed of the Ranch House, The Barn, and The Outbuildings. As one arrives the old Ranch House has been given a face lift that respects its farmhouse roots but moves them into the 21st century with a stone façade combined with refined plaster and board and batten to create that familiar feeling with a new interpretation.
The Ranch House contains a Grand Hall, Club Room, Wine Room and Multi-Purpose Space in addition to a Catering Kitchen and wrap-a-round Veranda. The Barn contains an open Event Space that is flanked by individual Club Spaces. The Outbuildings form the Wellness Spaces as well as a Potting Shed to support the Orchard and Vegetable Patch. The complex is rounded out with Bocci Courts, a Labyrinth and Event Lawn that make full use of this compact site at the heart of the community.
